Uh. I'm terrible at writing notes of gratitude. But thank you so much for diving into my music catalog, lol. Didn't expect much outside of some reviews from my uploads, but ya know what? This is niceeeee.

To those who decided to read this abomination of a blogpost,

My surname is monogoat1, but you can call me Mono. Or Goat. Whichever one your heart desires.

I was previously on Newgrounds for a long period of time (under the alias "emosire"), but I decided to delete my account and create a new one for a fresh start that showcases my versatility and maturity towards the community (and my music).

I've been making music for a long time now (7 years, going on 8 around August) and even though my production is still extremely mediocre, I feel like making music on Newgrounds would develop my skill even further as well as allow me to collaborate with local artists on the site.

I started out making music after listening to a "datfootdive" EP (an artist i still hold high regard for) and realizing I could make the same thing (it was complete garbage). I developed my craft making music in numerous genres: beginning with Vaporwave, Alternative Hip-Hop, Japanese funk, and getting into more mainstream sounds like Trap, Pluggnb, R&B, Soft Rock, and more.

After finding my sound and style, I started uploading my music to Soundcloud, YouTube, and the sacred gem called Newgrounds. I loved the feedback I received on Newgrounds; it taught me humility and gave me confidence.

So I'm back.
